Yep, pretty much why I became an atheist despite being raised as a Christian. And true to Christianity’s claim to be all loving, my mom threatened to put down my dog if I stopped going to church. I was still able to get out of it but my younger brothers might not be so lucky. When I visit home, I always see something along the lines of  ”I will not question the words of God, I will always do as I’m told.” on the wall. Talk about absolute totalitarian control and brainwashing. One of my little brothers loves dinosaurs and wants to be an archaeologist, but my mom’s unhappy about it because if he chose that, he will inevitably learn that the bible’s timeline is bullshit and follow in my footsteps. Good luck, lil bro.

And needless to say, ~SCIENCE~ is just so much sexier~~~<3

I hate those who use religion to justify their hatred for other people…everyone has a right to love their life the way they please- freewill and all- but everyone should try and live in a peaceful way…
